Survey: Digital Assets After Death or Incapacity

CPSA is undertaking a survey to find out what our members and constituents want to happen to their digital assets (online accounts such as emails, social media and bank accounts) upon death or incapacity.

The NSW Law Reform Commission is undertaking an inquiry into ‘access to digital assets upon death or incapacity’. The inquiry is looking into if NSW needs new laws in this area and what should be included in these laws. Digital assets are online accounts and the content stored in these accounts, for example emails, social media accounts and online bank accounts.

CPSA is making a submission to reflect what our members and constituents want to happen to their digital assets upon death or incapacity. Your answers are confidential and information, including any quotes, will be de-identified and anonymous if included in our submission.
