Isn’t it time to kick BUPA out of the aged care industry?

“Nine out of seventy Australian BUPA nursing homes are currently under sanctions. The question is: why is BUPA to allow to continue operating as an aged care provider at all?”, said CPSA Policy Manager Paul Versteege.

“BUPA facilities are under sanction for serious failures in clinical care, medication management and staffing levels. Just about anything that can go wrong is going wrong at BUPA.

“CPSA calls on the new Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission to show it’s not another re-arranged deck chair on the Titanic and take decisive action.”
