Submission to IPART Issues Paper: Maximum Opal fares until July 2028
CPSA has made a submission to IPART's review of the Opal pricing structure for public transport in NSW. Our submission argues strongly for the need to provide accessible and affordable public transport options for older people and people on low incomes throughout NSW. In particular, we argue for the expansion of the Opal pricing network across NSW and the expansion of the Gold Opal Card to people receiving income support payments.
