The aim of this webinar is to showcase how CPSA members can play an active role in raising issues with policy staff, which formulates CPSA policy. At CPSA, members are given the opportunity to shape policy and become more informed on important information that is essential in planning for later life.

CPSA policy staff will host a discussion with special guest, PhD candidate Caroline Porto Valente.
Ms Porto Valente has been researching the causes, extent, impacts and possible solutions to energy poverty among older low-income households.
Ms Porto Valente has kindly allowed access to the presentation slides that were used during the webinar. The slides contain vital information and hyperlinks to other helpful resources.

Death by Webinar

On 10 December 2020, CPSA hosted its second webinar ‘Death by Webinar’. The title of the webinar does not mean you will die while watching but simply signals that this webinar covers issues to do with death and dying. CPSA staff were joined by Christopher Zinn, Board Member of the Cemeteries & Crematoria NSW and consumer rights and empowerment advocate to discuss all things death and dying.
Death by Webinar is the second in a planning for later life series of six webinars produced by CPSA.
